Linda A. Otto – Founder and Program Manager

Linda is a UCLA graduate, a performer, an avid traveler and Founder of the Grandmas2Go program. She has served on several non-profit boards, primarily in the arts sector. She was the Interim Director of the highly successful Oregon’s Ashland Independent Film Festival, an event she helped spearhead.

Ten years ago, she developed a new passion when her niece became pregnant with triplets. Since then she has become highly knowledgeable in the areas of infant brain growth, infant mental health, the life-long effects of abuse and neglect, and the amazing benefits of nurturing touch. She is a presenter with Southern Oregon Success, a self-healing community initiative that presents information about the Adverse Childhood Experiences study, to make our community “trauma informed.” (http://www.southernoregonsuccess.org)

She is a postpartum doula; a certified Infant Massage Instructor, a court Appointed Special Advocate for abused and neglected children, and the Founder of the Grandmas2Go-Family Coaches program.

Joy Marshall – Managing Director

Joy says she has “nonprofit blood” running in her veins! Her fundraising career began in 1984 with the Children’s Miracle Network (CMN). She was the CMN Director for Children’s Hospital Los Angles, (Los Angeles, CA) and Valley Children’s Hospital (Fresno, CA); and was their Executive Producer of Champions, a televised fundraising program aired in the US and Canada. In 1995, she started her own fundraising/events consulting practice, Waroniecki & Associates, and, in 2006, began her practice in Southern Oregon under Marshall Fundraising & Events Management. Her clients range from local to global organizations including a relief mission in Thailand to aid Hmong refugee families living there illegally in political asylum.

When Joy first learned about Grandmas2Go – Family Coaches and its mission, she immediately reflected on her childhood and the impact her Gramma had on her life.

“Without her, I wouldn’t be here today. Through her strength and wisdom, she taught me to be a survivor. She passed when I was 12 years old, but the early childhood relationship I had with her has made me the successful person I am today!”

Joy joined Grandmas2Go – Family Coaches in 2016 and is excited to bring her experience and expertise with the goal to grow their organization to serve ‘everywhere there are babies and families!”
