Board Member

Growing up in a military family Laura was able to enjoy living in many wonderful places growing up. She met her husband in North Carolina, and the moved to Bend, Oregon, where they were blessed with 3 wonderful children. Laura discovered early in her financial industry career the ability to use financial education and resources to help strengthen and stabilize families. In Central Oregon she served on the board of many affordable housing nonprofits, and the local community action agency network.

Laura and her family relocated to Medford in 2012, to continue her career in the banking industry. When Linda Otto founded Grandmas2Go, Laura was so moved by their mission, she agreed to join their board. Grandmas2Go® connects ‘women of wisdom and experience’ to become volunteer family coaches to support struggling new families to help their children thrive. When the Family Nurturing Center adopted the program, she joined the FNC as a member of the board.
