FNC Farm & Food Program Manager

Doug has worked at FNC since 2010, starting out as a teacher in the therapeutic classroom, and then starting the Farm & Food Program in 2011. In 2017, he transitioned into a full-time role as Program Manager. Starting as a dinner and play group for dads, the Farm & Food Program has grown to include two farm sites that grow food for families at FNC and community partners, host field trips for FNC and local school classes, and provide fresh produce for two walk-in food education and distribution pantries at FNC and The Oasis Center. The goal of the Farm & Food Program is to increase access to healthy food for families in our community as a crucial support for family and community health and equity.
